Alright OTers, its midnight up in ma crib and I am starving. I am no cook and have very limited resources, and am in need for some good, quick, quiet, and delicious snack ideas. Just tell me what you like to make, and hopefully one suites my fancy.

So far mine is PB&J, you just cant go wrong with that. But someone should change my mind! :P

I normally try to avoid eating things late at night, but a nice bowl of cereal every once in a while is a pretty nice late night snack...Especially Cookie Crisp :P

I have a hamilton beach clamshell grill and I just had a cheeseburger and it took 10 minutes. I bought the hamburger meat in patties of course.

When I used to lift on a normal basis, Protein Milkshakes were always my treat :P. 1 Scoop of whey, 8-10 oz milk, then add in diced bananas and ice cream and blend...Sooooo good.

Nothing like a bag of chips at 2 in the morning. :)

I swear, I'll be damned if I don't have a heart attack by the time I'm 30 because of the way I eat... :P

Interesting you brought that up..I also drink either almond or lactose milk, because I'm lactose intolerant, something I didn't know a few years ago >_>

It's still good with different kinds of milk man - try it out.

Ya I have been drinking almond milk as well, but I prefer coconut milk. I know what its like to have food restrictions a couple years ago I was completely gluten free because my body couldn't digest it or something along those lines, now I just eat small amounts of it since my body has gotten better at dealing with gluten.

Ya I will have to now. :D

Cereal is always good. Its funny too cause just recently my buddies and I were thinking that itd be awesome if they had a cereal joint, you grab a bowl and pick your cereal, have like 150 different types. And you can mix and match, and then have like almond milk, regular, chocolate and whatnot. Thatd be heaven.

Pickles are awesome and have zero calories or fat. A lot of salt though...

I love those circular tortilla chips at any time of the day.

Frozen chicken tenders with a hint of Lawry's seasoning salt is just amazing.

A simple beer and any of the above do wonders for my appetite. Not so much for my waistline...

Eating something full of carbs at midnight is the worst thing you can possibly do. Unless you're working and won't be going to bed for another six hours.

I can't blame anybody though. I get VERY hungry around midnight on a normal sleep schedule, but I've learned to keep eating healthy things. Normally I'll have a pear and cottage cheese, or sometimes an apple with just a little bit of peanut butter. Sometimes some celery and hummus. Other times I'll just drink a glass of V8 and be good to go.

Easiest rule to remember: Eat carbs only when you're active.

I don't really eat very late at night, but if I do I usually have cheese and crackers. I love saltines or Ritz with some blue cheese or gorgonzola.

Something simple like Ritz crackers or toast. If it's much more than that I'll wake in the middle of the night with bad indigestion.
