OT's thoughts on the Black Eyed Peas?

I personally loved them ever since they debuted. And their new album is awesome. Best yet Id say. I currently love the song "Showdown" from it. Favorite one. Will.I.Am has amazing flow and Fergie is hot plus a talented singer. The other 2 I dont know by name really but they're good too of course. :P

I really just like Will.i.am and Fergie. They steal the show. Quite a few people don't know this, but Will.i.am was featured on Eazy-E's song "Merry m****f****in Christmas" in 1992. He was credited as Will1X.

They seem to get worse with each album....which means their next album will be one of the worst of all-time :?JML897

The name just reminds me of olives and I absolutely hate olives.

over all they are decent, but they have there fair share of total crap, like "My Humps".

They seem to annoy me. I hope to never hear their album (any of them) in one sitting again.

I like their distinctive sound. they're very talented in my book. usually have pretty great singles. "Meet Me Halfway" is a good listen

Meh. Rhyming "mama" with "mama" isn't exactly the most creative writing skills.

I love the way it took a "hot" woman for them to get noticed... they make me hate the average generic MTV viewer, also their first song where is the love was a stunt pulled to get people to think finally a group of people that will actualy make some real music with morals and depth to them, guess what both were just done just to get famous and now they pound us with songs like "my humps" and "boom boom pow"... ugh. Music is seriously dying, and will continue thanks to shows like the Xfactor and POP idol... have good looks average plus singing voice, come to the Xfactor and become a star, I've yet to see a winner/finalist release write a meaning full song. Maybe the days of amazing singer song writers are truely over.Too_tight_shoes

I think they are mediocre. Some songs, like "I Gotta Feeling", are near torture.
