Out of these random choices, which one annoys you the most?
All of them bother me to different extents. If I had to pick one, I would pick political correctness.

[QUOTE="MrPraline"]All but one make me rage, so this is not an easy question, sir.twilightpandawhich one? :o YouTube comments. They amuse me. Though after second thought, commercials don't bother me either because I never see them. I have made my my decision: political correctness.
I chose "The endless and rapid growth of stupidity among humanity" simply because you can lump PCness and the immature commentary in with it as well.
The endless rapid growth of stupiditiy or whatever. That covers politcal correctness, and Youtube's comments among other things. Damn seriously 20 hell even 10 years ago there was stuff on TV that wouldn't be considered politically correct these days. Hell know people even pick at what certain TV shows/channels don't have, and not just what they do have. Youtube comments are self-explantory, if your one of the first 5 people to comment you say "first, second, third". etc. The anti-Americanism is ridiculous, but what's just as bad is some of the stupid comments from Americans (and this is coming from an America)
[QUOTE="gamerguru100"]You're kidding...right? No, I'm not.Do you read news articles? Do you look at a few "news threads" sometimes? Lets see, a boy in China was beaten to death for not "running fast enough" at an Internet addiction camp. A 33 year-old woman from Pennsylvania plans to marry a fairground ride. Words such as "American" are being banned in textbooks. The word "American" was banned because it was "geographically chauvinistic". Give me a break. Have you actually read some YouTube comments? That's just one of many things that show just how stupid and immature some people can get. It may be misanthropic but it's true nonetheless.[QUOTE="-Chimera-"] The fourth one reeks of presumptuous angsty misanthropy.-Chimera-

And as the power of the media expands, the publicity of stupidity is... More well publicised. As far as I'm concerned we're all getting smarter... There are just a lot who ruin it for everybody else.[QUOTE="gamerguru100"]Do you read news articles? Do you look at a few "news threads" sometimes? Same here. Being politically correct really annoys me, but so do crying babies. Its between politics and babies crying.

It sounds as though this is merely the result of mass communication and sensationalism. It's not as though this is really anything new.
I remember my debate teacher in high school once told me about how one of his classmates got shot for trespassing on the lawn of an elderly man in his neighborhood, and it only made the local news. Now days you hear about all sorts of occurrences such as these, but that has a lot to do with the fact that they're able to get much more coverage.
These days, you're going to be much more exposed to these sorts of things from the outside world simply because of the fact that you have much more access to this sort of information than before. Just because you're hearing about it more often doesn't mean that it's actually happening more often. Stupidity has been common in society for as long as civilization has existed, and I don't see how one can assume that it's only increasing over time. If anything, we've come a far way from where we once stood just decades ago.
I have yet to see any sort of definitive research on any sort of trend concerning the supposed growth of stupidity, and all I hear is anecdotal evidence. If you can show me anything to the contrary, please do. If you can show me an objective assessment of any sort of trend concerning intelligence with clear and agreeable criteria that can apply to everyone on this planet, and do so with a viable sample size for that matter, please give me a link. Until then, I'm still convinced that all of these assertions stating that human intelligence is degrading is nothing more than presumptuous angsty misanthropic crap.
People have always been like this, and they always will be.
