I use a wallet.

Nice :D, but I'd imagine it would make driving a little difficult/awkward, however, you'd always have a flat surface to eat on when you're picking up some McDonald's drive-thru :P

How long a chain are we talking here? When it's buckled in can you reach the shifter to put it in gear (I assume you drive an automatic), and aren't you worried about thieves? They'd probably machete your hand off before asking if you had the key.

I rarely have money in it though. I find it easier to use my debit card.

i use a purse. a slightly small one so i can easy carry it around w/o tiring

the only thing that goes in my pocket is my ID, my bus pass, and ATM card.

I hate when dollar bills are folded, so they sit nice, flat and crisp in that. :) Which makes me happy.
