Allen west says says it how it is, there's never been a state called Palestine. In 1948, we finally got a modern day Israel.

Lets just give all of Palastine, Israel, Syria, Lebonaon, and Gaza back to the Italians. they at leats made it stable for a few centuries. Scratch that, Give it back to the Turks, will definantly spice up the mood in the TWC political mudpit.
why did u say it is an idiot?Well, Allen West is...how do I say this delicately.....an idiot.

If Palestine needs some territory to call their own, they can have New Jersey free of charge. I am more than willing to offer up that state for peace.
by looking the situation and human behaviour at this moment.... I think palestine is not capable as a nation. The worst situation is other country will take advantage like syria, malaysia and iranhippiesantaok i can kinda understand what your driving at perhaps. with Syria and Iran. but why Malaysia? the far east Muslim countries have little to no influence on the Arab world. the common bond is just religion.

This is news to me.
I think the Palestinians deserve a nation of their own...I just doubt they'll ever be capable of managing one.

Using that logic there never was a state called Israel ether before 1948. Thus Israel doesn't deserve a state ether.

Haha. You found a self described "emo guy" and decided he represented the entire nation of Malaysia. Cherry picking at its finest, I say. Why don't you actually check out Malaysia's Wikipedia page. You might be surprised.
While your at it, why don't you check out some academic and official stuff too.

We will never know because Israel thanks to the unquestionable protection by the US can do with the West Bank and it's population as they so please with out any fear of reprecautions.. And Israel has shown that they are completely unwilling to do anything less then control the radical majority of the West Bank... We are seeing a classic what happens situation when sides are imbalanced.. Israel and/or Zionists have had a unfair advantage in being supported by the West since the early 1900s when Great Britain took over the region through Mandates after WW1.. The Palestinian population after nearly 50 yearsafter the creation of Isrealwas just recognized internationally as a group.. Before that they were ignored completely..
i guarantee that if "Palestine" (which is a very ambiguous term in reality) formed a nation today, it would be end up being run by militants like hamas and would undoubtedly be a totalitarian theocracy like the other Islamic controlled nations in the area. and this is not to say that Israel is a perfect nation or something, but really I don't think the world needs a Palestinian state.

And so what if it did? Don't people have the right to self-determination?

that arguement could be used to justifiy practically all of the brutal, authoritarian, genocidal nations throughout the last century

Erm. The British aimed for a solution that suited both sides - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balfour_Declaration,_1917 . Ironically, the British left not because of their support of the Israeli cause, but in large part because of the Jewish terrorist groups that were bombing the colonial government and kidnapping British troops.
The subsequent invasion of Israel by the surrounding arab nations is what turned it all into a total mess - The subsequent actions of Israel after that just made it all worse.

No, it's a counter to the arguement that the Palestinians shouldn't have their own state. Granted you didn't explicitly state that, but it was fairly implicit from your post.
If Israel had foresight, and some in Israel do, they would GIVE Palestinians territory to form a state. Based on current birthrates, within 20-25 years Palestinians will form a majority of voters within Israel, and it will become their state ANYWAY. Giving them the territory they want to form their own state would head that off before it's happened.
Edit: the stat might be that within that span they will form the majority, though not yet of voting age, extending the deadline another 18-20 years, or whatever the Israeli age of majority is.
