Pc or mac...opinions please

hey, ive always had pc's and i really want to get a mac...ive been doing some research and they seem well..incredable.

could anyone give me feedback and opinions please

im 16 and only really use word, excel, itunes, internet, LOTS of music, some video editing,

thank you...btw id be getting the macbook (2.00 ghz duo, 1gb ram, 80gb hard drive, white)

oh and i want a mac coz im fed up of viruses, bloody slow pc's didnt no everythign u ever did is stored on teh registry..thats why there so slow..crashing, internet messing up (routers fine) all sortslewisg1212

as gaming machines go pcs are better but since you are getting a laptop I think macobooks are a bit better. You could probably find a better pc laptop but it's like finding a needle in a haystack, with macbooks it's like picking a needle out of needles (you're gonna get a needle no matter what). I recomend against getting a white one, as they tend to turn yellow after a year because of the heat.

 edit: I just read that you were 16 what do you need a laptop for??, laptops are pretty much just for people that are always going somewhere else.  If you've been on a plane 3 times in the past 3 months you probably need a laptop, but for your average consumer they are often a vanity item.

vanity? i need a laptop because...well not to boost or anything i go to a boarding school and need to move it around alot..im a bit of a geek u see..im always on my pc...seriosly...had it a year..its been off for maybe 5 dayslewisg1212

this is exactly what I'm talking about. laptops are not designed to be used 24/7 they are moble pcs. you should look into a desktop and a palm device, and save yourself a grand.

Also my guess is most of your pc problems are coming from trying to get free porn, music, videos, games, I've seen the symptoms 100's of times and those are always the route problems.  I suggest studying a bit harder about PCs or switch to a mac.  PCs don't just magically slow down over time and viruses, malware and such don't just appear on your computer either.  You authorized, downloaded, or went to a website you really shouldn't of and that's why your pc is slowing down.

If you plan on doing anything in the gaming realm, forget the MAC.foxhound_fox
