hey guys... is it possible to change ur windows vista theme? if so how and where can i chose one, are they hard to install? also anyone got any cool pictures for my desktop background? im looking for somthing maybe an abstract or explosions like action packed or somthing? cheers
You can try a shell replacement like Litestep. It has a lot of themes at deviantart and customize.org. It's not hard to customize but you don't have any fancy GUI or program to activate it, it's all done by putting stuff in the right folders and editing text configuration files. I'm currently using it with XP and used to use it when I had Win7 beta.
Ok, try search 'windows vista themes' in yahoo or google and you can find some sites that are providing various of themes to be downloaded. It's easy.amirzaim
Yeah but that only gives you different "color settings" or wallpapers, nothing too different or unique.
If you want more wallpapers, I've uploaded most of mine to Gamespot so you could look through that. 300 images uploaded so far, hope there's some you like :)
Oh, i forgot... windows vista themes is kinda hard than installing xp themes because xp themes using UXtheme and after you install it, you can install the xp themes, unlike the vista themes. Too hard but i'm found some easier way to do it, just use Tune Up utilities to install the vista themes with easily.
