Oh, they had sooo much more on him that they didn't even mention. They didn't even say that he was disbarred, did they?

I think it scared the crap out of him...The noise was one thing..but he clearly was not expecting the kick.....I was shocked they allowed him to fire it when the butt of the gun was close to resting on his cheek..:?

yeah the scene preaty much had "you are doing it wrong" written all over it

but there was the poblem of him being to small to fire from the shoulder and still reach over the table, so no idea what he could have done...

still crying was imo a bit of an overreaction, but then again it has been 11 years since I was 9 so :P

I also wondered why they didn't give him some basic tips, but maybe that was part of thier "experiment". Anyway, the AR15 couldn't hurt him, it doesn't have enough kick.

I think the reason the did not give him basic pointers was to show that video games teach nill about how to handle a gun at all...

About the AR 15 kick... no kiddin ^^ Okay I must Admit that I never fired an AR 15, but have fired an M4 amongst other things, and honestly, Ive come across some Shooting range guns with more kick, and most of those are pretty small caliber size ^^ (shooting ranges have and maintain thier own guns over here, personal guns are not allowed, unless is it is "special ranges" maintained by the home defence force.

I thought it was a quite good show, with some interresting points, and did highlight the hypocrisy that some of the "anti violent videogame" has

I stopped liking Penn & Teller a while ago... seems like a pretty lame subject. Nobody takes Jack Thompson seriously, anyway.

Maybe he could have used a handgun or something smaller.
