People not in the US - have you ever tried a Fig Newtons cookie?

I've never seen this cookie mentioned in a thread...they aren't bad for you, fat-free and it has a fruit filling.

Have you had these OT? (I'm more curious about GS users outside of the US).

I've had them under a different name. Those things been around for years. Not that keen on them personally, I taste the suger too much in the filling.

You know, people who work out or are dieting look for fat-free stuff...it's a heavily-marketed term.

National Biscuit Company...I was curious if any U.S. food companies sold in your markets - like Coca-Cola for instance.

I've had some cookies abroad that were somewhat similar, though not completely like a Newton known as Garibaldisand Flies Graveyard. They were pretty good, but I believe I prefer Newtons.

Fig rolls? yeah, they're ok... though definitely not my first choice of biscuit.

I love fig newtons! I was just thinking about buying some the other day actually.

Well I'm from the USA... but for the record I do not like Fig Newtons. They're not terrible, I can eat them and they're ok... but it definitely isn't my first choice, or my second, or my tenth.
