I just want you to think about this. On the U.S. southern border, there is a wall, the national guard, and other defensive placements. On the norther border, Canada, there is nothing: no wall, no guard, no anything. All that is there are just a few checkpoints to show your passport, license, and Birth Certificate. Any do you know why? Because Mexicans are hispanics who are not white and generally poor. On the other hand, Canada is a white and rich nation. Now, i know that there isn't a mass influx of Canadians coming to the border, but think about why there isn't a fence on the border between Canada and the U.S.: racism.

Canadians don't have a reason to jump the border. The Canadian government treats its citizens well and has a good economy. The Mexican governement treats a lot of its citizens very poorly and has an unstable economy. Mexicans are running to the USA en masse because the USA treats its citizens way better than the Mexican government does. All those Mexicans running to the USA have a good reason to do so, but they should do it through legal channels.

I agree most Mexicans are good, hard working people. They have some great cultural contributions to make to the US. But, let's be real here, man. A lot of Mexiacans are breaking the law by crossing the border illegally. Having border security where there is an obvious problem isn't racist. It's necessary to address criminal behavior with law enforcement. Quit playing that racist card. Don't flame the US for enforcing it's immigration laws. Flame the Mexican government for not enforcing its own border laws and treating its citizenry with disdain.

I am indifferent. On one hand its a tremendous waste of money building a wall on our southern border that will not be affective.. Not to mention illegals have very little affect on our economy.. And they certainly arn't taking our jobs. Mixed subject..sSubZerOo

Hell they could probably go through the wall with minimal equipment.

If I knew that a white Canadian was illegal, I would report him to ICE, because it is against the law for him to be in the country. If I knew that a Mexican was illegal, I would report him to ICE, because it is against the law for him to be in the country. They're both working a job that could be held by a citizen, and they're both receiving government benefits that could be received by a citizen. You're looking too hard for racism...there isn't any. it's a question of THE LAW, which has evidently been forgotten.

sorry for the double post, but you bring up an excellent point. Remember though, that Canada is considered a foreign country, just like Mexico. But before the "national security threat" wall thing, there was a huge difference in the border security between Mexico and Canada. Oh yeah, and i have an epic flame shield, so don't bother flaming everyone else. It has a picture of an enchilada, which this topic will now be directed to be about.
