I dont know if you gamers are interested in astronomy, but recently about 2 days ago Phoenix Mars Lander landed near the North pole of Mars. Mission is to dig the soil of mars, to see if they was or there is presence of water, whether its frozen or permafrost.

Now what if, if the lander found evidence of water in the past or even still existing today but just under the layer of rocks and red dust?

Would that prove that religion is just JOKE?? sorry, but no offence. I just cant stand religion, becuz all they got is talk but NO PROVE!

Personally, I dont really have a thing against religious people (I am definiatly not religious BTW), I'm open to all beliefs though, Agnostic, I just dont practice anything

I just have a thing against people who try to shove their beliefs and try to make you think like them, try to make you believe that they are right, and they know everything about everything, and they are never wrong. Just really shows how close-minded they are.....

I don't believe ONE word of religion. It seems to be a way to distract people from the reality of life.

I think what NASA has done is amazing. They think there is ice just inches below the surface of mars. I don't need Prof to tell me whether god exist or not, my common sense tells me that.

Instead of bashing the guy, how about you be a man and move on to the real topic at hand? Why are you guys getting all defencive over BS?

Anyways, I thought we been had those rovers on Mars? I'm not a big astro nerd, so help me get the big picture here. What significance will water on Mars have on humanity and our origins/future? How long will it take to terraform it?

what they are looking for inside the water/ice is organic compounds, if they find that, then it means other planets do have the capacity to have life.
