Lost is way better. 3 reasons.
1. It's not a cartoon.
2. They're on an island.
3. Others

undertaker's good, but i like the hardys and Rey Mysterio more.
Avatar rules! Okay so its a close win. I love Lost too, but if i really had to choose, its Avatar.

THANK YOU! Finally! I was beginning to think that the whole world had gone mad! What's with all the animation haters?
Neither. Avatar is a horrible attempt at child-like japanamiation and Lost is a complete rip-off of Survivor. Crappy reality tv versus crappy japanimation isn't a choice. :|
Star Wars wins. /thread
Avatar, because unlike Lost, which keeps shooting out new twists without explaining the previous ones, actually makes sense.

AMEN! I've heard a lot of people say the same thing. Avatar has a grand, multi-season spanning story arc.
Once the avatar defeats the fire nation, it'll be over.... however Lost hasn't even scratch the surface on the the whole story, the island including every single character, so i choose lost.Honenheim
Honestly, I don't think Lost will ever finish anything it starts. Just IMAO. They are using an old tactic to suck viewers in but never deliver a payoff. T-E-A-S-E

The creators have an ending and know how many seasons there will be.
No poll?
I choose lost, i can't stand cartoons to be honest, ive seen alittle bit of avatar, not my show.

I'll excuse your hating on animation...but just 'cause the Avs RULE!

But how many sub-plots will be "forgotten?" What's the total character tally so far?

Hey dude, if you want a "horrible atempt at child-like japanamiation" just watch Kappa Mikey. America's worst attempt yet.
Avatar wasn't trying to copy anime (as far as I could tell), they just used lots of Asian influences - and not just Japanese.
But I can agree with what you said about Lost ;)
I love Avatar because it has brilliant animation, brilliant voice acting, brilliant plotlines, brilliant dialogue, brilliant characters and just plain awesomeness the whole way through.
AVATAR FTW!!

I hope the ending is satisfying, and many characters and plots doesnt mean bad.
Lost by far...
Its Lost. Anything fails to compare.
Less you play a card like Arrested Development. That would require some serious thinkage...
Will definately say Avatar. But to be honest consider it...most people just see avatar as a cartoon thus automatically presume its childish etc etc not all but most people do. Frankly although season 3 for avatar is clearly taking the piss...seasons 1 and seasons 2 were simply breathtaking...the depth of characters and the progression of the story just makes you want to keep on watching.
Lost by no means is rubbish, far from it as you can tell by the ratings it gets and how high they are. But i do hate the way it constantly leaves u thinking...did i actually learn anything from that episode? or am i on another cliffhanger

Anywho. They're both still crap.
Avatar is better.
1) It's not Lost.
2) It hasn't jumped the shark
3) It's not centered on a desert island - seriously -> how much can you do with that?
