i know my ps2 looks terrible on my LCD HDTV. my PS2 looks better on my 10yr old CRT than it does on my LCD. The 360 is a diff story though That's what I found as well, but the games look a lot better when played through the PS3.
LCD, plasma has a risk of burn in with videogames, and when that happens you're done for. LCD doesnt have that risknuttybar
this is true, and ps2 games dont look crappy on it either, i play okami and SOTC on my plasma panasonic all the time and they look great. i was so impressed i only play strictly on that TV now. and okami has an option to switch to LCD mode and it looks sharper with richer colors.
