For some odd reason I have a fear of roller coasters and its not a fear of heights or speed I honestly dont know why but is there a way to get rid of it?

go to a park and make yourself ride the biggest one there and hopefully you'll enjoy it. thats the only way I know to fix this sort of thing.
EDIT
if you don't ride the biggest or fastest one there will still be that fear lurking in the back of your mind, so go all out.
I am going with my class on tuesday to a theme park and dont want to look like a little girl being scared.wiiguy13
then take it in and go with them on a rollercoaster. it's really not that bad unless you actually have some health issues or something

You wont be a little girl, you will be a man who isnt ashamed to admit he has a fear of something...
i respect that very much, and people will respect that
Most kids won't see it that way.Well, think of it this way. You have a 1 in 150 million chance of dying on a roller coaster ride and a 1 in 4755.1 chance of being killed in an automobile accident. So, they're statistically safer than when you ride in a car or bus. Plus they are more fun.

Im not afraid of heights or speed either, i just dont like that feeling in my gut when you go down the big drop.
But at the same time...I love it. Thats whats weird about roller coasters.

That's one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.
I used to be terrified of rollar coasters. My first time was in 4th grade and I literally wet my pants and for 4 years I would not get on them. Then on a field trip at the end of 8th grade, our grade went to the theme park. I didn't plan to go on any coasters but then the girl whom I had a crush on came up and asked me to go with her on the biggest one in the park. I was scared as hell but I didn't want to look like a chicken to her so I went. Right before the ride, I told her I am scared of coasters and she told me to scream like a girl and forget about the height and it would be fine. And of course it worked and to this day, I love rollar coasters!
