I'm doing homework for my Biology class, and I'm doing the Fish part. Throughout the whole chapter, it says the word "fishes" for the plural of fish. I believed it to just be "fish" but apparently it's not anymore. Or maybe this book just sucks. Thing is, I would like the official plural form of the word fish. It's annoying me.
Nope, it's not. Fishes describes a group containing more than one species. Fish is multiple of the same type. So neither is wrong. Plural of Moose is moose btw.
