When I look back on my collections I have over 600 Pokemon cards, 800+ Yu-gi-oh, and 400+ Digimon and since they came 9 in a pack for 8 dollars that is an extimate of 1600$ on cards I feel sorry for my parents.

I never bought either. I never had any beanie babies, except for the McDonalds ones. As for the pokemon cards, all the ones I owned were given to me by my brother and his friends after they deemed it "un-cool".
I ended up spending far more on Warhammer which I never finished :? I also spent a bit on Pokemon cards, but not that much, I wasn't allowed to get many.
In the beginning, I mooched off my cousins for most of my Pokemon cards. But, last summer (when I was 16), I actually started to buy my own. I bought about $50 worth. I still think it was money well-spent.
I wasn't an "avid" collector of Beanie Babies, but I did have a few cherished ones. I even had some Pokemon Beanie Babies! :D
yea i spent a lot on Pokemon and Digimon cards. Damn those toy makers for making such an expensive fad!
I also collected Yoyo's when that craze picked up and Puppy in my Pockets ( i have all of them still and kept the cards which came with them... and im still poor)
