Share you thoughts. Personally, I don't believe in anything he says.

How could you not? Remember when he said something would happen some time and something totally happened!

I'm going to go with this. I can make predictions as well. For example, someone with brown hair is going to die tomorrow and then people will mourn over that death.

I don't think there's any real way it could be determined if his predictions came true or not.

Definitely. He was at least as accurate as the Amazing Criswell.

I am not too familiar with his other predictions and if anyone has ever validated any claims he made, but regarding whether or not the world will end on 2012... as of now I do not believe it.

Well if he can predict the fututre then why do these "predictions" only seem to pop up after the thing happens? (Penn and Teller)

He made vague predictions that could be interpreted in any number of ways for any number of reasons, it's all bogus.

It's "bologna."

Do I think it's possible the world could end in 2012? Sure, it's possible. But I really doubt it will.

Not really, they are pretty ambiguous and can be interpreted in a number of ways. One thing is, the predictions are often asigned to an event after the fact. If you make a prediction something is bound to happen that somewhat resembles what you said.

Well, considering the interpretations of English translations of the original vague French quatrains are entirely up to the person interpreting it... I don't think its possible to consider his "predictions" applicable beyond general interest. They definitely aren't scientific or accurate.

No. Predictions as those arent real. They are just extremely vague writings which seem made to make anyone think that they apply to them. Those prophecies are like blank spaces asking for some fanatic ready to start mumbling about the end of the world.

Interesting. I didn't realize there was a different spelling for when used that way. I suppose I stand corrected. Thanks for the info!

Predictions are crap especially way back in those days and if we go even further back in time the Mayans use to sacrifice people or else they thought the sun wouldn't rise...yeah...I really trust crazy people from the past.
