I have never left Utah, but according to people that have, people don't seem to know about fry sauce. I can't believe this, because it is a necessity for fries IMO... If you still don't know what it is, it is basically ketchup and mayonnaise mixed together. Fry sauce is extremely popular here and can be found everywhere.

I've heard of people mixing the two, but I didn't know it was called that. I've dipped fries in both, but not both at one time.

Sounds good. Though I already do this.

Except instead of "Fry Sauce" I like to call it Pus and Blood.

They sell fry sauce in bottles here, and I live in California. :? At any rate, I've only had it once. It was alright, but not really something I would use on a regular basis.

I've never heard it being called fry sauce but I've met many people who mixed ketchup and mayonnaise together. It grosses me out but I've never tried it.

I know, right?

people hear the word "mayonaise" and their initial reaction is "ewww". What they fail to realize is just how much of the stuff they unintentionally eat.

Mayonaise is just eggs and oil. Do you eat scrambled eggs in the morning? Do you like salad dressing? Because thats essentially what mayonaise is.

Ooooooh and homemade mayo? Sooooooo good....add some garlic, lemon juice, and you got aioli, perfect for salmon and seafood.

Never heard of it until now.

Sounds like it might be good, so I'll mix up ketchup, mustard and mayo next time I fix fries and see how it tastes

To be honest, I don't like sauces. Mayonnaise especially. Ketchup is only ok because I've spent so much time having to endure it that I've trained myself not to taste it anymore. :P Utah can keep it. :) It can be their secret, kind of like unsweetened iced tea is to some USA states.

I love fry sauce but hate ketchup and mayo alone. I live in Utah by the way, and whenever I visit other places I always look for fry sauce and I rarely if ever find any.
