My parents are usually in a different country to me so when I speak to them over the phone I willoften end the call with saying "love you!"
I feel that not adding the "I" makes it less soppy. =P
My parents mean the world to me, and I'm not embarrassed to tell them I love them, it's just a little awkward because we're not a very affectionate family in that sense.
Every time I talk to a family member on the phone, I end the call with an "I love you". :) Always like to remind family members that I love them, especially my parents who are very important to me.

Haha, that reminded me, my grandmother always says God Bless you at the end of a phone call, and I don't really know what to say back cuz iuno it just feels weird even though I am religous. So after she says this some awkward silence follows and I hang up. :P

I can't it would make it even wierder lol. Its like "oh god bless you" and I'm like "Uhhhhhhh, bye."

Very rarely. When I talk to my Grandparents I do. My mom gets it now and then. I don't think my dad and I have ever said it to each other. metallica_fan42

It doesn't bother me, I just have no idea how to respond so I just go into panic mode even though I have been in this exact situation before lol. Shes old and cool so she can pull off these strange sayings, she is good at creating awkward moments :)
