I am not sure if there should be a poll added to this, but whatever. I thought I would ask you guys to see what you might think about this myth.

Some say that it helps straighten out your spine, but will not make you taller.

Others say its total bullsh*t, and a waste of time.

So what do you guys think?. Feel free to comment also.

Btw, I might make a thread on how to grow taller and whether or not it is possible.

No it doesn't.

Your spine does stretch when it's releaxed (like when you're in bed or in outerspace.) but standing and walking compresses it again.

There's only two ways to increase your height.

1) HGH shots before your growth plates lock

2) Exercises like dead lifts can help provide perfect posture, which can give the illusion of being taller.

5"9 is short? Not really, but for those who think I actually do this because I want to get taller, I DO NOT, and I was never planning on doing so in the first place. I was actually researching this for a project FYI.

No, genetics and good nutrition during adolescence make you taller.
