People are only allowed 1 child for 2 generations. Fixed.

The_Gaming_Baby

And how would such a policy be implemented or enforced?

A country that produces oil has a population which is less than a million and 50% of its parliament members were accused of taking bribes from the prime minister. Each MP took about 50million USD as bribe. Guess where those millions come from? Oil. Equal distribution of wealth should go beyond borders.

you set up checkpoints all over the place with pregnancy scanners, and when you get caught they send you to a deadly prison built under the ground, and try to turn your child into a cyborg.

Yep, like I said - lots of people suggust 1 or 2 child limits, but never offer up any real ideas on how to implement such policy.

I'd say that I'm doing my part, but I was a sperm donor in college. Sorry :(

On a global scale, this is not an issue.

Developed countries like the U.S. already have negative birth rates, the problems are with asia and africa, there should be restrictions there as they obviously need them.

Restrictions aren't what's needed, education is what's needed. Doctors there will actually ask pregnant women and girls if they understand what's happening to them.

Yeah, I think it's fine to have population control. If things are getting extreme, limit each couple to one baby so the population can be cut in half over a century, maybe even less. That'd work out fine. If they have a second baby DESTROY ITS SOULLLLL ;33333333333333.

the world can handle 7 billion people. If it ever gets to the point where it's a problem, people will die off, wars start, etc.....that's how the human race has evolved to control itself. If you want resuls now, best way is to simply educate people in 3rd world nations about contraceptives and health and the problem shrinks. They have so many kids in places like that because 1) Many of them die, so they need many to ensure some survive and 2) people have no clue about protection to avoid kids alltogether if they just wanna get jiggy with it.

7 billion population is a problem for the ecosystem considering some of the resources we have to take to sustain that many people. It's an absurd number, and more and more of places like the Amazon are being cut down everyday. Thousands of species go extinct each decade and it's only going to grow as the number of people grow. Believe me, I've experienced this first hand. 7 billion population isn't much of a problem for the human species itself; and since we're such an incredibly selfish and destructive race, most people are probably fine with harming ecosystems globally.
