QFT. No.No. It just leads people into harder drugs. I watched some of my 'friends' start of with with weed and move into harder junk. They said they wouldent try anything else, but time tells different.
Drugs are for losers or patients that need them.

i think it should because the economy would rise and there would not be one fatality from weed itseld.FPSunionOWNS
Sorry, had to post that.
Anyway, I think it should be legalised.
Oh, you saw this happen a few times so surely it must happen very often. Marijuana is not a gateway drug. No matter what, people will get their drugs.
Would you rather it be from some slime ball drug dealer on the street who will sell it to anybody and cause violence or would you rather it be sold in a pharmacy and regulated so we can tax it to help the economy and keep it out of younger peoples hands (for the most part)?
And the whole "gateway drug" thing is old hat. If schools would educate people correctly instead of using fear mongering programs like D.A.R.E. then the public would understand what these drugs are capable of (both good and bad) and they wouldn't be naive enough to put just anything into their body.

srry bro u have no clue
I think it should, and i think cigarettes should be illegal. If the government legalized weed, think of how much money they would get of taxing it, and using the hemp plant as a source of paper, etc.Overwatch88
Um...why?

That logic could justify almost anything being illegal...playing Halo made that kid go and shoot at his classmates...that burger led that guy to eat so much fast food that he became obese and died from heart disease. The government shouldn't be deciding what can go in our own bodies.

They're a lot more dangerous and addictive than marijuana. And why is that any of the government's business? People know that cigarrettes are unhealthy; it should be their own decision if they want to smoke them.
I didn't say any of that..And why is that any of the government's business? People know that cigarrettes are unhealthy; it should be their own decision if they want to smoke them.

While I don't think the government should ever control such things, I would't ever say "Go ahead", because one should wait and help get it legalized before they begin ingesting illegal narcotics.

"don't make weed legal our country will go up in smoke!!" LOL! being illegal doesn't keep it from anyone who really wants it so I guess it could be legalized who cares
