I wanted to conduct a poll and see how the people of OT would react to this issue..
I guess I don't need to explain what I meant by stars, you're all pretty smart to understand it on your own..

well some people have a natural talent for things. be it a sport, acting, drawing, painting, playing an instrument, or singing... but in order to fine tune their gifts, they have to practice....like the old saying goes, hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard
If I found out I was decent at something and someone invested a lot of hours and money into making me good at it, I might become a star too. It's a mix of some amount of natural talent, lots of hard work, and someone to back you and provide you the chance to make that talent your life. I have yet to find my talent so my star must shine another day.
Your not suddenly born with a natural talent for playing a guitar or singing. It's all about your upbringing and the personality, interests you develope as a result from your reaction to everything around you. But this is obvious, so the born thing must mean something else, like spiritial or something. Maybe you think that their is some higher being who selects children for great things. This can be true in ways, who was it who said "Some have greatness thrust upon them". That's one way in which a star is born, they may never of wanted fame, but cirucmstances made it so.
Only example I can think of from that is Harrison Ford. Common story goes that he was a carpenter working on the movie set, but got roped into the roll of Han Solo. He had natural charisma galor, so in a way yeah, he was born to be a star.
It goes both ways. *raise little finger*
Nonsense question.
You are made into a star based on your life, nobody is inherently destined to do anything.
dhyce
Did Paris Hilton just so happen to turn herself into a star?
Are you trying to saying stars in the sky are born?if you are talking about movie stars, they are made
