Cloverfield was such an insane movie!
I liked all of those movies though.
I just think the Cloverfield Alien was the coolest.

I thought the Cloverfield monster was pretty cool, lots of features on that bad boy.

i remember watching jurassic park when i was a kid and thinking "where the hell did they get a r-rex?". so that one is up there. king kong is pretty impressive too. the range of emotion on display is even more impressive after youve seen the 70's kong whose emotional range ran from "guy in a stupid suit" to "tired guy guy in a suit wondering why he has to wear this stupid suit".

That scene where the guy gets eaten by the T-Rex while he's on the can has really made it difficult for me to use a Porta-John or latrine in my adult life :P

Can anyone think of other CG beasts that were impressive? I thought of others after making this thread, like Draco from Dragonheart, Grendel from Beowulf, Angelina Jolie in Beowulf (very nice), I'm sure there are others out there that I am not remembering.

Definitely the T-Rex... it was made over ten (fifteen?) years ago and it still looks awesome when compared with today's CGI monsters.
