They're there to protect and server their countries... They're following orders and they aren't shooting people because they want to; they do it because there's a lot of crazy a holes out there that need to be STFU'ed.

You forgot Delta Force, also know as Special Forces Operation Detachment Delta.

The SeALs are a joke.

And Rangers are fairly badass, but pail in comparison to the SAS or Delta.

Out of that list, I'd have to say the Navy SEALs. Of all the Spec Ops groups I'd have to say SFOD-D (better known as "Delta Force".)

Actually, you don't have a clue about what you're talking about. Marine Force Recon is in fact considered a Special Operations group. Delta Force wasn't the only Spec Ops group he forgot. He also failed to mention Special Forces. The SEALs are not a joke, and are one of the best trained, and toughest Special Ops groups in the world. Each of the aforementioned groups are insanely tough, but cannot truly be compared to each other as if they were designed for the same type of operations. The British equivalents, however, can be accurately compared. (SAS to Delta, SBS to DEVGRU)

Care to speak specifics? The Spetsnaz isn't really a group in itself as it is a term that refers to the multiple groups under the FSB and similar branches of the Russian govt. Using the word "Spetsnaz" is like using the term "Special Operations" in the United States.

Of course you can't elaborate. In what way are you a Ranger? I'm not really inclined to believe everyone who throws out the word "Ranger" as an occupation, and I'm kind of curious as to how you mean it. If you don't wish to discuss it here, I'd be happy to discuss it through private messaging.
