Odd. That's the exact reason a buddy of mine used to explain why he hated the film.
What I didn't like about Wolverine was the casting of Lieb Schreiber instead of Tyler Mane.Stinger78
That was kinda necessary, don't you think? You don't give significant speaking roles to wrestlers; you give them to actors.

That's the kind of crazy, inside-the-box thinking that killed my American Gladiators feature film :cry:That's the kind of crazy, inside-the-box thinking that killed my American Gladiators feature film :cry:xaos
There's always the straight-to-video market.

Not all Wrestlers are necessarily bad actors, or have had bad acting roles (Isn't Professional Wrestling considered acting anyway? ), here are some examples:
Edge - Highlander Endgame
The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) - numerous roles including the Scorpion King, Race to Witch Mountain, The Rundown, and Walking Tall
Stone Cold Steve Austin - the Condemned
John Cena - The Marine, 12 Rounds
Sting - Moment of Truth, Shutterspeed, Walker Texas Ranger (several episodes)
Hulk Hogan has also made some decent enough movies like Thunder In Paradise, Suburban Commando, No Holds Barred, and the comedy Mr. Nanny and Walker Texas Ranger (several episodes)
Those all included significant speaking roles. Perhaps with the exception of Edge in Highlander.
Not that all of those movies made 'cinema history' but they show how Wrestlers can have significant starring and speaking roles in movies.

The Condemned was badass. Sounds like you've had a hard life. Good thing it's over.... Are we in some sort of Bizarro alternate timeline?Origins was the only enteraining one.
