Poorly reviewed movies you thought were awesome?

For me right now, it's Chronicles of Riddick. However, I did see this movie before Pitch Black, but even after watching that, I still thought it was a great movie. What about you?

P2. I thought the concept of having on guy hunt someone in an empty parking garage for the entire movie was an interesting concept.

Godzilla
Mission to Mars
Armageddon

I enjoyed the Saw movies, despite them being slammed by reviewers left and right. I know they could be better though; spending more than a year on each sequal would've been nice.

The first Saw scored below 50%, and each sequal gradually scored less and less.

Actually... I kind of liked it too (when it came out and I was a kid.)

Now however, not so much.

I loved both Silent Hill and Vantage Point and I remember being very surprised to hear that both got very poor reviews
