[QUOTE="TraXxX"]Is there such a thing as healthy fried chicken? I've had it a couple times, it's pretty good. Fast food is too expensive, though!I don't eat junk food. If I want fried chicken, I'll make it myself at home the healthy way.
Maddy_K
You use high quality vegetable oil, skinless chicken parts and a lighter batter. So yes, there is such a thing as healthy fried chicken. It still packs some calories but definitely not as much as those you get from a fast food place.

Why in the blue hell would you make fried chicken without the skin? :?[QUOTE="TraXxX"]

Why in the blue hell would you make fried chicken without the skin? :? Yeah...is it even really fried chicken without the skin? That sounds so pointless to me. I pretty much live off of fruits, veggies, nuts, berries, and some lean meats. This way, if I want to eat something unhealthy once in a while, I can do it right!Took the words right out of my mouth. :PPopeyes is the best fried chicked chain. Their hot/spicy mix is the best.

Why in the blue hell would you make fried chicken without the skin? :?Because there's a lot of fat in that skin. If you don't care about your health and/or you want to become overweight, go ahead and eat that crap from Popeye's.

Calm down! Eating some real fried chicken once in a while isn't going to make anyone unhealthy or overweight. Why in the blue hell would you make fried chicken without the skin? :?[QUOTE="Pirate700"]

:| I lift weights and go for hikes on a very regular basis. I can afford to have some chicken skin. If eating real fried chicken makes one fat, then it's because that person is lazy as hell and inactive.[QUOTE="TraXxX"]

Yeah KFC has gotten really soggy lately. Generally a sign that they didn't cook it at a high enough heat and that it's sitting around way too long.I love popeyes. Their chicken is less greasy and more crispy than KFC's. Also their mashed potatoes are better too.
#1.

I like Popeyes better than KFC. KFC's chicken is too greasy.ReaperPlayaI agree with this guy! KFC just fails compared to Popeyes! I wish my home was closer to a Popeyes place than a KFC place T_T
