For those that don't want to take the time to listen to the audio provided in the link, it's about a new chip that is said to utilize light-waves instead of copper and allow for downloads at speeds of 100gigs per-second. That means, if you download an HD movie, it will be completed in less than a second(which would, in my opinion, destroy any advantages that both HD DVD and Bluray might have had). The downside...it won't be available for mass consumption until 2012 :( Still, I think it's very interesting, though, and tech-heads might find the interview interesting as well. Thoughts?
