Digital CD is still a CD imo, but i guess the TC should of say the last album you bought to avoid confusion.CDs are so '90s. (Legal) Digital distribution is where it's at. :)

agreed! I don't care if it's vinyl, MP3, cassette, or any of the above, just post em baby :p
Lol naw. CDs tend to be either the same price, or cheaper (If you look in the right places) then digital downloads, and are generally better quality and just a more complete package. Plus they are always on hand, don't have to worry about re-downloading everything if my hardrive crashes. Only decent reason to buy a digital album IMO is getting a giftcard.CDs are so '90s. There are lossless digital downloads around (same quality as CD), and sensible people keep a backup of their data, including music. Your only valid argument is to get the extra goodies (CD art in physical form, booklet, etc), but those don't really appeal to me as I only want the music. Besides, CDs are scratch-prone. Digital distribution will take over eventually, and physical mediums should move to flash-based memory (albums in USB pens maybe?) as it is much more reliable. Also, if you're looking for a specific work, it's much more convenient to just go online and download it instead of actually going to the store.CDs are so '90s.
