I'd highly recommend watching the anime the screenshot is from (5 Centimeters Per Second) too. It's only an hour long and it's one of the most highly regarded ones out there.

How do you print screen with Mac? I can't figure it out.
Cmd + Shift + 4 to change your mouse icon to crosshair then select area you want to capture.
Cmd + Shift + 4 then Space to capture a window.
The application name is Grab. Just type it in Spotlight. There is shortcut explanation in its help section if you want more details.
