I don't like busy artwork or anything weird and try hard (i.e. the artwork on alot of metal/alternative albums). I like simple covers.

BTW, I don't know why people dickride Sgt. Pepper's cover so much. I think it is incredibly garish.

Some assorted picks I enjoy. Not necessarily my favorites because I can't really pick one (or remember all the great ones):

Nothing like Hemingway's sepia-colored face on an album cover.

I do like hip-hop but a lot of hip-hop covers are so boring or lame that it's hard to find them aesthetically appealing. They rarely capture the emotion or feel of the album, let alone the music itself. Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde is cool though I guess. Also I totally agree with the At War With Mystics and Wish EP pics from earlier in the thread. Good stuff.
