It's not rock, but it's blues. And Stevie Ray Vaughn would be mine. I could post a rock guitarist, but I decided to go with blues:P I know it's a long video, but if your a guitarist, or a fan of guitars, you'll love it:D

Stevie was good, but he got real repetitive real fast, unless he was covering a Hendrix tune

I love Stevie to death. I don't find him repetitive at all. Lots of blues sound the same. You basically improvise in blues. If you just play the scales in the correct order, it's boring.

 Even though he isn;t like rock... even though he can be... that metallicafan had blues so i can have industrial.

Although I am likely to say Trent Reznor for pretty much any threads about "Which is your favourite..." musicians.

I'd have to go with Slash, and then the 3 guys from maiden (i just count them as one guitar megaforce) as close second. Technically Slash isn't the best (and i can admit that)but he does have a melodic side that a lot of those shredders like Wylde don't have. It takes more then fast fingers to play guitar.

My favorite rock guitarist I can't really pick a favorite, but one who is really getting up there in my book is John 5. Marylin manson's ex guitarist who is now Rob Zombie's guitarist. He's been around for a while, but just recently has he been starting to get well known. I like him for his wide range of genres he plays.



Here is one of his Solo album songs (one of my favorites of his)

Here is him playing country type music with and electric

Here is him on stage with zombie (the solo is excelent and at the end they he starts playing sweet home alabama)

EDIT: Caution: In the First video there is some mild violent footage. and In the third one Rob Zombie cusses a few times.

Tom Morello. He has technique to do most-intricate solos, yet goes after his own unique style... that makes him great. Creative and talented.
