Post your First day of School Stories!!!!!

Today was the first day of my Sophomore year, it wasn't too bad, but I was lucky I got there. The bus was supposed to get to my stop at 6:50 so I got to the stop at 6:45 to be safe. There were 2 other kids from my neighborhood there. It was about 7:00 and still no bus. Then, I saw a bus was coming, it was coming to my stop and....didn't slow down. Suddenly when it passed our stop, it slammed on it's brakes. The bus driver opened the door and said " Are you guys headed to Riverview (the high school)?" we said yeah and we got on the bus. The school district can't get the buses to pick up kids correctly.It's that terrible.

Oh, it gets better. Apparently the bus that was supposed to pick me up missed it's entire route, and my friend who would have been at the next stop, got a ride from people in a van. They stopped, opened the door and said " Are you guys headin to Riverview? Hop in we've got candy" My friends got in the van and it dropped them off at school. I'm totally serious.They got into a van with strangers who said they had candy. Totally ******* serious.

School starts next Monday for me, but who would be dumb enough to go in a van because the people had candy?judog1

My first day of high school, I was late to my very first class simply because I couldn't find it. So I had to be that guy who rushes in when the class is half over and I've got all eyes on me, disheveled, out of breath, embarrassed. It was great the second day because I finally knew where I had to go so I stride in all proud that I'm on time only to see a bunch of clearly older students all staring at me, some on the brink of laughter. They see this little geeky kid standing in the middle of the class, completely frozen. I realise what's wrong, do a 180 and do the quick-walk out the door.

Yeah, turns out they changed the room # on the second day of classes. I made some great first impressions that year. :roll:

Every first day is uneventful. I'm not looking forward to going back, too many *** holes at my school.

On the first day of one of my second semester classes during my freshman year of high school I went to the wrong art class and realized it after I'd sat down. I looked at my schedule again and realized my class was on the other side of the school, and I didn't want to walk all the way over there so I just pretended I was in that class for the day then never went back again.Darth_Tyrev

I had a similar experience to the TC's. Only 1st day of my freshman year( new school, didn't know anybody) but I survived and now im an upperclassmen. Class of 2010 babyKrunkG7707

My public school doesn't start for two weeks but I spend half the day at the community college in a gifted program that includes kids from like five neighboring high schools.

That started up today and it was pretty fun. I made a couple of new friends, and unlike my public High school, their are actually attractive girls! HOORAY! :D

But I really don't remember many of my first days of school nothing epic really happens on the first day haha, and, I start school next week, but I really hate everyone in my school so I could careless.

Me too. First graduating class of the decade. My first day of school is on Friday which I love. I'm actually kind of excited for school. I'm going to a new school and the best part is that there are no seniors at our highschool. Freshman to Jr's only. Which means I'm gonna be the top dog for two years. Awesome.

My first day (Also Sophomore year) was Thursday. Nothing big happened. A lot of people didn't reckognize me. Um. I threw a trash can at some Freshman, yes, threw. And followed the Vice Principal around during most of 7th hour.

Good times.

My fourth year of college starts next Tuesday, but my worst first day was probably junior year in high school. I had a schedule from 730 to 330 with like 2 short random breaks and I had to write a one page essay in Japanese for homework about what I did over the summer. It was a great foreshadowing of cramming the entire textbook in 2.5 months for the SAT II lol. What was worse was that Soul Calibur 2 came out that day, and I barely got to play it lol.CJL182
