My brother is really into The Mars Volta, but I could never really "like" them. Would you recommend a few good songs for me to listen to?

Frances the Mute is all I've been listening to lately. I'm even warming up to Amputechture. But yeah, right now I'd say Frances the Mute is their best album, but it's much, much harder to get into.

X-P Oh well, De-loused was one of my first albums I really listened to, so I sort of grew close to it, I'm thirteen, slowly building up a music collection - venturing into Mike Patton's stuff right now.

Frances felt more like a jam to me, I liked a few tracks, I just wish they'd be a little more straight forward. I'll listen to it over again though.
