Pre-OTcars Discussion

Hey guys, it's almost that time again. OTcars are upon us. For those who don't know, the OTcars is an award ceremony celebrating the users who make Off-Topic good, bad, and everything in between. Last year, whos_next000 hosted them and I and a few others helped.

Let's start with what we need.
-A Gracious Host (Master of Ceremonies)
- A couple of Tallyers
-A date (last year they happened around January-February)

If you're interested in being a host or tallyer, please PM me or reply below. But please, make sure you don't get suspended when it starts. Once your the host, I'm leaving all responsibility to you. You're in charge of organizing and communicating and leading the tallyers. This is a lot of work, so before you sign up for the job make sure that you're willing to put the time and effort into making the OTcars happen this year. Tallyers, you have a lot of hard work also and you need to be honest.

The awards are probably going to be the same as last year's, with a few new awards. If you have any award ideas, go ahead and post them below.

Here's the usual time it takes. This may change depending on how long the tallying takes.

And MoonSpoon, there might be a few that's worth mentioning. To tell you the truth, I don't recognize most people anymore. But hey, I'd hate to see the OTcars die because of that.

Updated. Looks like we have a host now and enough tallyers. Though, I will accept more tallyers on a first come first serve basis if the current tallyers feel that they need more.

I'll let the dates be decided by the OTcar Committee. Right now, we can use some possible award ideas or infact any ideas. Maybe something different this year? I'll let the community decide and come up with ideas.
