Probably the coolest world war 2 soldier ever to have lived...

His name was Jack Churchill. He signed up for the british commando's because he thought it sounded fun. Instead of normal infantry weapons, he brought a claymore and a longbow into battle. He lead soldiers into battle using his bagpipes. At some point he was captured and sent to a concentration camp (which he escaped from twice), and marched across europe to rejoin the war effort. When WW2 ended with the hiroshima and nagasaki bombings, he was dissapointed. he wanted the war to go on for 10 more years.

He was the only guy to ever get a kill in WW2 using a longbow. He also at one point captured at least 50 enemy soldiers with his claymore.

This is guy is the highlander in real life.

What do u mean by "Indian vs the white man," the longbow was a British weapon, but this Jack Churchill guy seems to be a bit umm... courageous.

P.S. I have been doing some research and this guy has a lot of guts, he ran into battle with a sword, bows and arrows, and bagpipes (ALL at the SAME time!!!) just like you said, I didnt believe it until now. He also got the Military Cross which is awarded to soldiers who show courage n chivalry during operations against the enemy.

I think it goes to Audie Murphy. He used the .50 cal machine gun on top of a burning tank destroyer that was about to explode to single handedly hold back an entire German division. He also used the radio to call in artillery strikes. It was like something out of Call of Duty or Medal of Honor, only it actually happened.
