My parents got out with the laptop for a couple of days, and when they tried to play a movie, there wasnt any sound, so they tried a couple of stuff, but then my mom said she thinks she messed something up, the problem his that when you go in configuration and then sound, it acts like there is no speakers. What could I do to fix that problem? Thanks in advance.

If you have xp, I would try going back to a earlier save-point.
