Can anyonw give a link to a proxy aite that allows large downloads. I know various but they stop downloading after 10 mb. thnaks in advance.

Just get Tor. It's like bittorrent, except for standard web practices. Anyway, if you can't install it there's a portable version available as well. It's far faster than most proxy sites as well.

Using Tor for torrents and stuff is considered bad form. It uses donated bandwidth, and is supposed to be to protect privacy not to hid your identity while pirating.

True, but the OP didn't say anything about BitTorrent. Chances are he's trying to use it to get around sites that use captcha + IP-address-specific download restrictions.

Standard HTTP/FTP transfers generally shouldn't bring Tor nodes to their knees like BitTorrent will.
