Good.

I hope his first order of business is to sign defence pacts with Syria and Iran, and with other nations that are being threatened by the hobnailed boot of NATO Imperialism.

Aye, no one should be able to intervene in the internal affairs of Syria and Iran. Not even the Syrians and Iranians!

Aye, no one should be able to intervene in the internal affairs of Syria and Iran. Not even the Syrians and Iranians!

As both Assad and Ahmadinejad have said many times before, the so-called "internal opposition" in their countries is largely financed and orchestrated by the West. Actually, the same is probably true of the earlier demonstrations against Putin.

Where is the evidence of fraud? :? Exit polls say 60% of people voted for him and official results also say 60% of people voted for him. So why are people surprised? I hate Putin as much as the next guy but this would be a really cheap way to overthrow him if he really did win fair and square.

Yeah, if the people being protested against say the protesters are paid by foreigners, it must be true.

Like them or not, chances are they know their own countries way better than your TV, which is where you get all your information from.

the elections were fairer than it was ever in america, america has a 2 party system where parties need to win in a whole state in the presidental elections, communist got 17%, national liberals got 7%, social democrats 3% and the owner of the new jersey jets got 7% Ron Paul has higher chance to win in russia than in america.HFkami
lol,by that logic even in the most strict dictatorships, elections are fairer than the US'.

Putin's main competition was the Communist party candidate...

I know Putin's a corrupt thug, and I know OT has lots of resident commies that will say "give communism a second chance!"....but seriously....

I still wonder if a resurgent Sovet Union would be weaker or stronger than this current form.

There is a new eurasian union coming with russia, belarus and kazakstan having an own costume union already and having a common market, the rest of the central asian states are interested to join as well as the break away republics of georgia. But i dont think russia needs the countries anymore, if you look at these countries they are all very poor now in comparison to russia even the baltics which are in the eu as they have lower gdp per capita. Ukraine used to be one of the richest parts in the russian empire/SU where most researcher came from and where latter the soviet industry was sitting while russia gave the recourses for the soviet economy. Now russia can sell their recourses for a high price to western countries and modernize its economy with the money while ukraine has to deal now by itself. The only former SU countries which are important for russia imo is khazakstan and aiserbaidschan as these countries have recourses too and can compete with russia.

And how does that exempt them from being complete and utter liars on this subject matter?

2600 false points to vote.
1000 Cameras (internet) to let people over internet watch the voting... they launched the cameras after voting... people saw other people party or sleeping O_o

And they didn't let the MOST IMPORTANT people to sign up...

They left only those that people don't want to.. (I believe the people of putin)

So they had to choose the smaller evil :)

All I can say...

WORLD IS CORRUPTED.
They did it with fraud and poor propaganda.

Other nations does it only with PROPAGANDA. :)
