Its the verbage for bits/bytes. If you're talking about storage (hard drives, thumb drives, etc) you express it in bytes (8bits) but when you're talking about the transfer of data, that is expressed in bits.

16,000 / 8 = 2,000 KBps = 2 MBpsMerkaba-

and then that is shared amongst a couple hundred people in your area. :|

I know..he used MB which is megabytes.

I should have, maybe, 900kbps, because i have now 8mb and can sometimes reach 500kbps.

But i live in a somewhat remote place, so you should be able to get the double, if possible.

You'll still be sharing the connection with your area (I'm assuming its cable) You'd obviously get better dl speeds. I think it would only be good if you do online gaming.blooddemon666
