How many resumes did you put out? I handed out 8 and got two call backs. The first call back was about 3-4 days later while the 2nd was about 2 weeks later. I got the job from the first one. As for my first job I didn't get a call back for two months.
i am assuming you forgot the word "long" in there, but to answer you question it all depends, i would say you should call them after about a week if you dont hear anything
Generally, one of the questons I ask during an interview is if they have a timeframe for making a hiring decision. That helps me decide when I should follow up.
