So I have a graphics card that my brother gave me and it's better then my current graphics card. Unfortunately my brother didn't save anything besides the graphics card itself. So before I go in and install this, do I need a CD to be able to install it or anything?

yes you need to install the driver, but it can work without it until you download it form the website

Yeah, it will work sufficiently enough to get on the website and download the drivers.
