Ok, you know how a lot of men (don't know about women...I'm not a women) getdisgusted when they see 2 men kissing? Since it is in your genes to like the same sex, do you feel the same way when you see "normal" couple doing the same?

I was wondering this and it would seem that it would be true, but I wanted to ask. If so, that kinda sucks.

I get annoyed when I see couples kiss, no matter the sexuality of the couple. Most times, it's the straight couples that make me wanna gouge out my eyeballs, than it is the homosexuals. Straight couples gnaw off eachother's face, while gays and lesbians seem to make cute pecks on eachother's mouths..

In general, public displays of affection beyond a quick peck annoy me, unless it's at a club or similar venue.

A lot of heterosexual people and couples get "disgusted" when they see other heterosexual couples kissing. It has nothing to do with homosexuality, but an aversion to PDA.

I don't get why people have such a problem with that. As long as they aren't holding up traffic or stripping or something, I couldn't care less about public displays of affection. It's nice to see that people still have the capacity to love eachother.

Nobody is forcing you to watch them, they are just a couple expressing affection towards each other

I'm not sure myself. My girlfriend and I have a couple friends who don't enjoy when we barely kiss, and we try to respect that, but we prefer displaying our affection for one another publicly. I think it probably stems from a cultural idea from back in the Victorian days where anything to do with emotions, sexuality or love is a "private" ordeal that must be maintained behind closed doors.

I've never seem a gay couple kissing. I doubt I'd care, I'd just look away like I would to a normal couple, it's none of my business...

It's a context thing for me; there are places where PDAs are kind of expected, after all

I just go stand behind them and say, "That's it. Kiss him/her real good." I think it bothers the couple but I'm just being supportive.

That's why I put the drunk part. They usually go hand in hand...or tongue in mouth as it were...or...never mind

I really dislike seeing Public Displays of Affection from any sexual orientation. I just find it extremely awkward, especially when Im with my Family at the time.

Its when we see men kissing it freaks us out. We think how can someone not be attracted to women they're beautiful. Its just our way of thinking. Now when we see lesbians holding hands in public or kissing we make smart remarks. Like "I'd like to watch that go down". And we think its hot.

Are you a male or female Hoth?

If some gay couple started kissing publicly in my country they would be thrown something on, called names and attacked by crazy nationalists and ultra catholic grandmas. I would just smile if I saw them and look away, it's act of bravery here to kiss or hold hands when oure homosexual. As for hetero couples kissing - I just look and look away like on normal part of world

Regardless of sexual orientation I'm cool with just regular kissing/even affectionate or whatever you wanna call it. Stuff like this bugs me though, once I was in this sandwhich shop just eating and minding my own business, and this couple at the table in front of me are just full on sucking face. the woman was groaning and everything, and they were getting super into it

I think its great when people are proud to display their affection publicly, but in something like an eating establishment or a location where I'm forced to watch it, it does annoy me. I can't think of many people who want to have to hear and see all that while eating, they were directly in front of me and it was a crowded place so it wasn't like I could just move or look away

Marry? Wow. Here one party (conservative) wanted to change something in some law, article, I don't know, but they wanted to make marriage only relationship beetwen man and woman in view of law. In the end this change wasn't allowed, so what they said was like 'oh my god! this opens way for homosexual marriage! no, no, no, how can you do that to people in year of beatification of John Paul II?!' lol.

Since 2005 they have been able to marry and I believe it is good to show that people can grow out of false things like being homosexual is sin. There were a lot of protest from the Catholic Church about the subject but they failed LOL

Lucky your nation is. We're I guess one of last countries where Catholic Church has that big rights and can affect every single aspect of people's lives. All these pedophile priests are almost always just moved to another parish, some time ago they acquited some priest for trying to kill some boy, because he had nice black dress I guess. They'll never let people have abortion or euthanasia or even civil partnership for homosexuals well nothing that Church wouldn't like people to have because almost all politicians are catholic or pretend they are

im bi, ill get annoyed if any couple no matter what sex is doing full makout session in public - but mostly i just ignore it i think its probably narrowmindness and being scared that would make a straight person think its digusting to see men kiss but not others...kinda hypocrite...but oh well thats the world we live in

Btw I dont mean someone isnt allowed here to be publically gay (at least in big cities where people care less than in small communities such as my hometown); its just that I dont see any gay couples out. Which means they arent showing it.

Even in some gay-friendly areas of Athens (Gazi) the gay couples I saw didnt even hold hands. Who knows maybe its just not their thing, idk.

Not annoyed, but it kinda impresses me. People have the right to love whoever they want.
