Same here. It was called Blackboard or something. That's what I'm using in College. Didn't use that system in high school, but could still log on and see our marks.
I'm long removed (class of '04) but I'm pretty sure we could even back then.

Damn you're older.:PSadly the years are flying by. LOL, damn, I feel old too. I was class of 03. I know we started to get high tech at our school, but pretty sure that my parents or me couldn't see our grades online. Just wondering how High Schools utilize technology. Just read in the newspaper that our high school is getting ipad for every kid.
When I was in high school, we (and parents) had access to grades, homework, days you didn't go to school, what position you were in comparison to your fellow students, several charts and graphics showing your progression. Seriously, that school took 'progress follow-up' to a whole new level.
I went to 2 different high schools, one in Apopka Florida and the other in Chicago Illinois, neither offered online grades. I graduated in "08 so I can't say if either school offers that now though.
Yes, It's a pain because teachers demand you check it often, but some put in grades very rarely ,while some enter grades every day. The site messed up and doesn't show some things occasionally.
Last time I attended high school the Internet was pretty young and AOL was king. I don't think my school even had a website until several years after I left.
i used to log into the school's computer using my modem. i could change my biology grade to a b from a d. they changed the password every few weeks but i knew where they kept it. the password was 'pencil'...
