do u go to club/ bars alone?

i turned 21 about a month ago haven't gone out to bar or anything. i don't have friends to go with (not old enough) (19) the closest club bar r like 20 min drive. i think i would feel Eward wondering around a city along drinking a lone.

Make new friends.

I've gone to bars by myself when I'm already completely trashed for a drink, but I haven't stayed there for any length of time. Nor have I gone to a bar by myself, grabbed a seat and stayed there, attempting to make friends with people who are sitting next to me. Its not like the movies and tv shows, where a guy walks into a bar alone and starts hooking up with chicks...Cloud_Insurance

No, clubbing is a thing I do to have fun with my friends... don't see any other point in it. Never gone alone.

But I have mixed feelings when it comes to bars, those places usually have some good food/coffee/beer and a big TV screen if you want to see a game.

And it isn't necessarily weird that you are wandering around a city drinking alone...it's just a sign that you have a problem.

Normally I would, but my dorm room is hot as balls. I am not in control of the heating or air conditioning, so its beyond my control. Its 30 degrees outside. I've got the window open. Two fans going. And I'm sweating.

Drinking by yourself sucks man, I see alot of losers at bars all the time and we make fun of them trying to hit on the bartender girls, it's really funny at times. These people are old, fat, or ugly, sorry if someone is offended I'm just telling you guys how it is where I live.kid_who_grew_up

Well some places it might seem normal, I bet it is normal and no one really cares, just like Bill Murray in

You don't have to focus on bars, you can go to house parties, once you know where one is you just go right in and everyone is to wasted to care who you are, grab a drink, talk to a girl and boom you're set for the night, best do it with a friend because I'm a chicken by myself, you need alot of confidence to walk into a random party where you don't know anyone.

No, I think I went to a bar at my hotel when I was in Miami on business once, but that's probably the only time I've ever gone alone.btaylor2404

If I was on business somewhere, I would always go to the hotel bar...but then again, I'm still in college.

back to the topic... never been to a bar/club on my own, but i have gone to concerts on my own. as long as there is some way to distract yourself while you're there, then it can be fun.

are you any good at pool? you could do that while chilling at a bar on your own.

if you like to play cards, you could go to the casino instead.

There are different types of bars.. "clubbing" is not really the place to go alone I would think. I don't go to a busy club/music bar by myself.

I do however go to a "towny" bar or a lodge like the elks club by myself. These are places where you walk in and more than likley know the people that are patrons and know the bartender. The place where the regulars are always there. For example a happy hour bar where people stop after work.

I get enough of the club scene when I am at work, I don't go to them.

If I was on business somewhere, I would always go to the hotel bar...but then again, I'm still in college.

Yeah I would have too back then. Now it's just a great quiet brief escape from day to day life to be in a silent hotel room.
