i heard the guy say " i saw it, its a lion, its HUGE!!!" during the trailer so no i dont think its mecha godzilla ( even though he should have his own movie)
i somewhat have a feeling its not cthlulu just because of the fact that those stories took place around the 30s and 20s/ but hey i could be wrong. and also if it is cthlulu or whatever its goin to be pretty odd seing him and everything else from a home camera. only time will tell

Well since it's gonna be on a home camera, that means you wont be able to see him completely (At least not for very long, i'm guessing) So that means it might just LOOK like him. And since they won't be focusing on him in lots of detail (again, i'm guessing), he'll probably look pretty realistic, which will be awesome.
It cant be about the end of the world. I mean there are a bunch of clues that its some kind of "monster". You got the huge roar, you got fireballs flying around and huge explosions. You got people talking about how big this something is, and I did hear the guy say something about lion too.
