22cal. bang bang you -Mephisto with a pistol on methedrinecrystal
give me all the money to me you're less than a $%#$%^ stool - juxed 51 times
"******* ain't **** but *** and tricks, lick on these **** and suck the ****..."- Dr. Dre- "******* aint ****"
So he said 'Now baby don't be stupid. Get this into your sweet head. There ain't nothing in the woodshed, except maybe some wood' - Something For The Weekend bt The Divine Comedy
That is such a famous lyric. Can't tell you enough how many times Ive seen it.It's so easy to laugh, it's so easy to hate. It takes strength to be gentle and kind. (I know It's Over by The Smiths)
Murj
Mine would be
"We are the relics, the fossils of our time
We Mutilate the meanings, so we are easier to deny"-- (Quiet by The Smashing Pumpkins)
Or
"Speak to me in a language I can hear,
Humor me before I have to go" --(33 by the smashing pumpkins)
"i changed my motto, instead of saying **** tomorrow
that buck that bought a bottle could have struck the lotto"
-nas
"My mother said you sucked my **** when you came out
Don't ever talk back
I handled your life and I'll snatch it back
I'm just a latch key kid wit a snotty nose
High school drop out, space I'm around need white-out
And I ain't dealing with no minimum wage
I'd rather construct rhymes on a minimal page
Cynical ways, cats sin for nickels these days
Pulling the chrome out, and your acting like pulling the chrome out
Hated the sound of grandma's crying, a crooked letter
You could hear it from the ground or where the sky thunders
Make you wonder bout early Sunday mornin'
Relatives dressed in black and they all mournin'
Flows be banging in the paint throwing elbows
My first fight was me against five boroughs
I lost my first wish
But remembered every detail of my first kiss
That's that Bronx tale bliss
The holiest of holies, hip-hop, it was eighty-eight
Even at the age of ten, phrases levitate
Drinking little hug quarter waters
Dodging stray slugs on the corner, in that exact order
While you plan death is what happens
I found a passion to aerosol cans and hands clappin'
Backspins, microphones, and cats rapping
Linoleum, and up-rockers, the show shockers
Who ripped lee patches off of imposters
You ain't the real McCoy, you a wind up toy
And it's gonna cost ya
And that's my B-Boy Alpha"
-vast aire of cannibal ox
"And it was fourth grade, I got high top played
Sported the black and red Jordan bootleg craze
And when the big kids zeroed in I'd wince
I haven't let my mother buy me bootleg since"
-El-P

Woe is me, there goes poor Marshall again
Whining about his millions and his mansion and his sorrow he's always drownin' in
And the dad that he never had, and how his childhood was so bad
And how his mom was a dope addict, and his ex-wife how they go at it
Man I'd hate to have it, as bad as that Mr. Mather's claims he had it
I can't imagine it, that little rich poor white bastard
Needs to take some of that cash out the bank and take a bath in it
Man if I only had half of it.
If you only knew the half of it
Evil deeds, while I plant these evil seeds
Please release me from these demons
I never had any of this **** planned ma, please believe
I don't wanna be Satan's spawn, never got the chance to say I'm sorry
Now look at all the pain I caused
Dear Santa Clause, why you not comin' this year again
What did I do that was so bad to deserve this
Everything could have been so perfect
But life ain't a fairytale, I'm about to be hoist up in the air
Forty feet below me, there's people everywhere
I don't even know what it feel like, they know me cause I'm in this ferris wheel
And all i wanna do is go to the mall and take hailie on the carousel
Without this crowd everywhere I go, but life is like a merry-go-round
Here we go now, doe see doe now, curtains up, the show must go now
Ring around the rosie, the shows over, you can all go home now
But the curtain just don't close for me, this ain't how fame is supposed to be
Where's the switch I could just turn off and on, this ain't what I chose to be
So please god, give me the strength to have what it takes to carry on
Till I pass 50 back the baton, the camera's on, my soul is gone
"Life's a b****, but god forbid the b**** divorce me,
I'll be covered with ice so hellfires can't scorch me"

like short sleeves I bear arms"

"Holy, Holy…Holy, Holy…Holy, Holy…Holy!
Heaven will disappear with a roar.
The host of God will come to destroy, Sin is a declaration of war.
God will have his glory one way or another."
Destructor - written by Team Strike Force but prefer it performed by Sackcloth and Ashes.
Through the fish-eyed lens of tear stained eyes
I can barely define the shape of this moment in time
And far from flying high in clear blue skies
I'm spiraling down to the hole in the ground where I hide.
If you negotiate the minefield in the drive
And beat the dogs and cheat the cold electronic eyes
And if you make it past the shotgun in the hall,
Dial the combination, open the priesthole
And if I'm in I'll tell you what's behind the wall.
There's a kid who had a big hallucination
Making love to girls in magazines.
He wonders if you're sleeping with your new found faith.
Could anybody love him
Or is it just a crazy dream?
And if I show you my dark side
Will you still hold me tonight?
And if I open my heart to you
And show you my weak side
What would you do?
Would you sell your story to Rolling Stone?
Would you take the children away
And leave me alone?
And smile in reassurance
As you whisper down the phone?
Would you send me packing?
Or would you take me home?
Thought I oughta bare my naked feelings,
Thought I oughta tear the curtain down.
I held the blade in trembling hands
Prepared to make it but just then the phone rang
I never had the nerve to make the final cut.
"Hello? Listen, I think I've got it. Okay, listen its a HaHa!"
Pink Floyd -- The Final Cut. One of my favorite songs of all time.
i know it's messy but you'll make it right you don't want pity you want pride a king, a lion, a god among men and children who cry when the thunder begins their heads fall to their chests while you watch from a great height with your head high and your eyes on fire...
Yes Yes Yes! - Hey Rosetta!
or Psalm also by Hey Rosetta
but often it happens you know
that the things you dont trust are the ones you need most
so it's cautiously into the dark
but you see before long that your eyes will adjust
and under the night you can hear
the full moon rise like a psalm in the air
and the air goes into your lungs
and around in your heart and on through your blood
it goes cautiously into the dark
and you see before long that we all have a part
and under your skin you can feel
that the fear that you feel is what will set you free
and under the night you can hear
the full moon rise like a psalm in the air
and the air goes into your lungs
"They told us all they wanted
Was a sound that could kill someone from a distance
So we go ahead, and the meters are over in the red.
It's a mistake in the making." Kate Bush - Experiment IV
"Sequence activate, trip the hammer to eradicate, I must eliminate
I will spread swift justice on their land
Termination imminent, cleanse the parasite insects, the heathens
I am the bringer of the end of time for man
I am not here, I am not far away
I am not here, I will eradicate mankind into the nothingness from whence they came"
Sentient Number 6 by Nevermore, such an awesome song.
He meant it as "watch your son rise" but it really don't matter. He was trying to pull off the dual meaning anyway.I let you ****** see the light im like the prison yard I yearn
For that living large but mama I aint done yet
Sit back and watch your sun rise
Kick back until yo sun set
Forever I aint run yet and I never will
Wale feat J.Cole- Beautiful Bliss

Sonic Youth's Diamond Sea has some truly memorable, beautiful lyrics.
blood crystalized as sand
and now I hope you'll understand
you reflected into his looking glass soul
and now the mirror is your only friend
look into his eyes and you will see
that men are not alone on the diamond sea
sail into the heart of the lonely storm
and tell her that you'll love her eternally

That Nas quote is like my favorite hip-hop lyric ever. I havent listened to much Nas really ( i know) but when i first heard NY state of mind i thought this line was sick: "i never sleep, cuz sleep is the cousin of death". Yea, Nas was one of the first to use that phrase but he actually didn't write it. He got it from an ancient African proverb. These have been my favorite lyrics for awhile now...
"I dream in darkness
I sleep to die,
Erase the silence,
Erase my life,
Our burning ashes
Blacken the day,
A world of nothingness,
Blow me away.." Sweet Sacrifice - Evanescence..
"It's not so much the pain
It's more the actual knife
Pretending, the picture is perfect
I cut myself to sleep
I close my eyes for a second
And meet a fragile soul
I scream to hide that I'm lonely
The echo calls my name.." - Take This Life - In Flames..
Also...
"I apologize.
Tasks do not come easily.
Each failure, a glacier.
Each disapproval, a bootprint.
Each disappointment,
ice above my river.
So I have worked hard.
not good enough" - Suicide Note - Janice Mirikitani..
"You would not believe your eyes if ten million fireflies lit up the world as i fell asleep."
I find lyrics to songs to be absolutely pointless because usually they are, but lyrics that provide some kind of imagery are good and this one was great, along with a few other Owl City songs. His lyrics don't make any sense and have no meaning, but they put good images in my mind and that is why i like it.
