I would file it under stupid ass saying of a bunch of posers who can't come up with their own line.. So they say a stupid overdone line that every one uses over and over again.. Every time I see sayings like that or "qq" or other such things, a little piece of me dies.

Apparently, Fox goofed and the guy didn't have any record at all. They took down the story or something because of their own misinformation. Fox made the leap that dressing up as pedobear = being a pedophile.

Agreed. It is a TV station out of Cleveland Ohio and not Fox News. They are no different than WSB-TV in Atlanta (ABC affiliate) or KLAS-TV in Las Vegas (CBS affilitate) and are not equal to ABC News or CBS News. People hate Fox News so much that they cannot differentiate between the two.

I'll admit I facepalmed when they started getting horrified at the thought that a PEDOPHILE might be HUGGING your kid for like 2 seconds. While there's no difference between a kid hugging a guy in a pedobear costume and a guy in a Mickey Mouse costume, apparently if one of them happens to be a pedophile the child is instantly and magically traumatized for the rest of their lives.
