The Quran was written by one man
the Bible was written by 40 different authors on one subject who dont contradict eachother
From a literal point of view, they are great pieces of Classic Literature.
But as a christian Imust say the Bible.
I think the LOTR is the best fantasy story now...Mr47fitter
Good for you, but that has nothing to do with the Bible or Qurann.
This is basically asking are you a Christian or a Muslim
I'm a christian so I say the Bible of course

Actually, the Qur'an was written down and memorized by hundreds of people, and the texts didn't contradict each. Muhammed (pbuh) was illiterate.
I don't read books about old guys who marry 6 year olds, sorry.123625
I don't think you want to go there.

I thought the "prophet" mohammad wrote down the entire QuranHe recieved revelations and dictated them to scribes. BTW, I believe Quran to be the message of God. Bible too was a message of God, but now has been corrupted by man ( as far as Isalamic belief is concerned).

Way to take things out of context.
And no, the Quran was not written by Prophet Muhammed (pbuh).

Whats out of context? Mohummud married a 6 year old, right? How is it out of context?
Not out of context, however... Engaged at 6 years old. Married when she hit puberty. This was more then normal in that day in age - around the world. Heck, did you know roughly 100 years ago, the same could be done in the United States? These laws actually only changed after the feminist movement -- in our country at least.

Well first, this happened 1400 years ago. Second it was in a different part of the world. Third, marriages back then were mostly to unite tribes together. Basically marrying someone 1400 years ago is something completely different than marrying someone now.

Well I dont have a Sura or verse to quote this. However, If you do some research on the culture, you can come to that logical conclusion by yourself.

Yes he did. Arab Prince, if you want to look it up -- I'm playing COD4 (alt-tabbing). However, off the top of my head... He did not want to marry her to begin with, however, had he not married her, it would have been taken as a diss. However, it was not until God told him to marry her, that he accepted. In fact, the forsight of the command is rather significant given that she lived many years after his death, as one of the most important figures of the Islamic empire. Along with her being hte most sourced, and has the most "sound" Hadiths.

Quran is still in the same form as 1400 years ago, when it was first revealed.
Do muslims accept that Jesus was crucified?notconspiracy
I reply with this verse from Quran:
[Yusufali 4:157]That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah";- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-
[QUOTE="notconspiracy"]Do muslims accept that Jesus was crucified?MFaraz_Hayat

The Quran would be incorrect in that instance then.

It's a matter of belief. For me Quran is correct and for you Bible. For you the Quran is wrong at this instance for me, Bible.

For the Quran to be correct...God's promise would be ignored.

So, we follow what is apparently an elaborate scheme, yet a scheme we saw with our own eyes. You follow words saying it was a scheme, but have no physical evidence proving he wasn't crucified.
Sounds a bit like the conjecture is on your side of the ball to me. But I don't know the context of that passage.
